My grandson Noah Ramirez since he has been attending his karate classes, I have noticed that he has shown leadership skills and discipline, and confidence. What he has learned in his classes, he mentors and guides his little brother and others around him. He is very polite, confident and motivated. He really ejoys and cant wait for the next session. PMA is a fantastic place to get your kiddo started with Marshal arts. They offer several sessions with various age groups. My son has had a lot of fun sessions and enjoys the classes a lot. Coach Alejandro & Coach Robert are very professional, very patient and a master of their art and work fabulously with the kiddos.My son adores them very much! I would definitely highly recommend this place and Coach Robert & Alejandro any time!

Great program! Kids really enjoying the lessons

My 7 year old son has been participating in their program for almost three years. He has thoroughly enjoyed it and we've certainly seen an increase in his motor skill control and an improvement in his work ethic. The instructors here teach not only martial arts but also concepts of respect and other key skills young children need.

We love it here. My son’s both have attended premier and they love it. All the staff are amazing and very helpful, professional, and provide a great atmosphere for all the kids. I highly recommend giving them a try.

Premier Martial Arts welcomed my son into his first class session with excitement. His first lesson was awesome , seeing how the instructors communicate and connect with the kids made it easier for my child to join in on the lesson.

My son has been attending Premier Martial Arts at the Heights for just over a year now, and are very happy to have joined. Sensei Nick and his team not only teach martial arts skills but also make an effort to connect personally with each student, helping to build their self-confidence and support their personal growth. My son feels right at home in the dojo and looks forward to every class. While students may be at different skill levels and ranks within the same class, there’s a strong sense of mutual respect, as everyone is on their own individual journey of growth.

Ever since Alexa joined in 2022, Coach Robert and Coach Alejandro—along with other awesome student trainers—have been nothing short of amazing. They’re patient, encouraging, and really know how to connect with the kids. What I love most is that they don’t just teach martial arts as a sport—they focus on the full picture. They help the kids grow physically and mentally, building their character, confidence, and discipline every step of the way. I love this place, highly recommended!

Good teaching of discipline and respect. It's a very different activity for my son than the team sports and is a great confidence builder. Sensei is very knowledgeable and good at teaching, but does take some getting used to with his sarcasm; when coupled with Coach T (who is great at interacting with the kids while teaching) it's a good dynamic that works with my son. Just a bit pricey for the time compared to other activities.

The coaches are top notch, supportive and go above and beyond for their students. Super grateful my son is able to train here! He’s learned so much and is constantly leveling up his skills by training with Sensei Nick and the other coaches. Highly recommend Premier Martial Arts - Heights.

Mr. H is an incredible instructor—he’s not only skilled in martial arts but also deeply committed to the growth and well-being of each student. He teaches far beyond technique; he instills self-discipline, strong values, and encourages the kids to explore their full potential. You can tell he truly cares, not just as a coach but as a mentor for life. Mr. P, who often helps out with the kids is fantastic as well. Even though this is a side hustle for him, he manages the academy with incredible dedication and organization—it genuinely feels like a calling for him. Together, they’ve built more than just a training space—they’ve built a community. Parents are often included in various ways, which really reinforces the feeling that we’re all part of something meaningful. I’ve noticed such positive changes in my son since he started here—not just in physical strength and confidence, but in his attitude, focus, and overall character. I sincerely cannot say enough good things about The Heights studio! The degree of professionalism that all of the coaches bring to each of their classes and the studio in general is truly remarkable (and we are 5 days out of the week)! Sensei Nick is one of the most dedicated coaches we have ever met, and his passion to teach each student so they can reach their full potential is so greatly appreciated. He and Coach T love to work with my son so many times before and after class, and they do this as this is their calling. We are very grateful to have them guide our son through his black belt journey and would recommend this studio hands down.

This is the place to be! I have trained with Tommy Crouch and his staff on numerous occasions and can honestly tell you that he is a world class martial artist and more importantly a world class instructor. He and his team will provide you and your family a positive environment where you'll learn a lot more than just kicking and punching- they will give you the tools to become the best version of yourself. This is the perfect place for you and your family to train. Update! Still awesome!

My daughter joined at the beginning of the school year for an extra curricular activity. We chose karate because she's been punching and kicking EVERYTHING. This dojo has been great building discipline, community, and creating a safe environment for the kids. They have really fun themed parent night out events for the kids and have opportunities to try it before you commit. Overall, great dojo and program! Would recommend 👌

Update: after over a year of practice, we are still very happy with PMA. Come check them out! My kids come out of here sweaty and worn out, having had a fun time. This is the only sport they have never once complained about going to. The coaches are kind and respectful, and they emphasize leadership, confidence, and control. They challenge the kids physically and mentally, but they also give lots of positive praise and extra support and instruction when needed. My kids are learning martial arts, sure, but more importantly I have noticed positive growth in their character at home and in school. PMA River Oaks also offers some extras, like nerf wars kids' night out and a summer camp, that are a great value. We came here initially to have a ninja birthday party, which was awesome if you're considering having a party here, but we have stayed for the fitness, fellowship, and FUN. Thanks, PMA River Oaks! We will keep coming back!!

From day one, my son was so excited and engaged. Coach Robert did the initial two 1:1 sessions, and the teachings reinforced and motivated my 7 year old to do the things we instill in him at home. We are just starting out, but I’m looking forward to watching him continue his journey
